Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows and macOS Endpoint Engineer II to join our IT Infrastructure team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise endpoint management solutions across Windows and macOS environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Intune, Jamf Pro, Azure, Active Directory, and endpoint automation while helping build a modern, secure, and scalable desktop platform for end users.
  • Job Title: Windows and macOS Endpoint Engineer II
  • Location: Newark, DE (Onsite)
  • Contract Duration: 8+ Months
  • Rate Range: $65-80/hr on W2

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise endpoint management solutions for Windows and macOS devices.
  • Manage application deployment, configuration management, asset management, and endpoint lifecycle using MECM, Intune, and Jamf Pro.
  • Automate endpoint management, user provisioning, and data migration using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Azure Conditional Access, compliance policies, and endpoint security configurations.
  • Configure and manage Active Directory and Azure Group Policies.
  • Design, test, and implement Virtual Desktop solutions.
  • Develop and maintain endpoint security standards, including patch management, encryption, antivirus, and least-privilege access controls.
  • Monitor endpoint health, compliance, and performance while developing dashboards and KPIs.
  • Research, design, and implement secure, scalable, and highly available endpoint solutions.
  • Create implementation plans, test plans, project timelines, and technical documentation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide operational guidance across endpoint management platforms.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, project teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise endpoint services.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, governance, and operational best practices.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or 5+ years of equivalent endpoint engineering experience.
  • Strong experience managing enterprise Windows and macOS environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Microsoft Intune, and Jamf Pro.
  • Experience implementing Azure Conditional Access, compliance policies, and endpoint security controls.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Azure Group Policy administration.
  • Experience designing and implementing Virtual Desktop solutions.
  • Strong scripting experience for endpoint automation and user data migration.
  • Knowledge of endpoint security best practices, including patch management, encryption, antivirus, and least-privilege security models.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
