Summary of Job Duties:
Program Coordinator provides primary administrative support and oversight for the administration of the Psychiatry Clerkship, M4 Psychiatry Electives and Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship. This includes administering the program, assisting with curriculum development; compilation of grades & evaluations; reviewing, analyzing, and disseminating program data collected to ensure continuous improvement and accreditation, website management, and communication with students, physicians in the program, faculty, other administrators within the institutions and the country. For Graduate Medical Education (GME), this individual will manage the day-to-day operations of the Forensic Fellowship program to contribute to the success of the program through support of the program director in accreditation efforts, educational programming, and support of fellows. The GME program coordinator is a member of the program's leadership team and as such has a unique knowledge of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and program-specific requirements, policies and procedures. The GME program coordinator serves as a liaison between program and trainees, faculty, staff, hospital administration as well as internal and external departments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma or GED plus four (4) years administrative or program coordination experience.
  • Computer experience and the ability to learn additional programs as needed.
  • Experience with O2 (Oasis), New Innovations and ACGME ADS is a plus.

  • Experience with student affairs or graduate medical education preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the daily administration of the Psychiatry Clerkship, M4 Psychiatry Electives, and Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship.
  • Assist with curriculum planning, development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Compile, maintain, and distribute student and fellow grades, evaluations, schedules, and program documentation.
  • Collect, review, analyze, and report program data to support continuous improvement and accreditation requirements.

  • Monitor program compliance with institutional, GME, and ACGME policies and requirements.
  • Coordinate educational activities, meetings, orientations, evaluations, and other program events.
  • Maintain program websites, databases, records, and communication materials.
  • Serve as a liaison among students, fellows, faculty, staff, hospital administration, and internal and external partners.
  • Manage sensitive student, fellow, faculty, and program information with confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
