PARTNERSHIP SERVICES/GAMEDAY INTERN (UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND)

THE RUNDOWN

Maryland Sports Properties is looking for a Partnership Services/Gameday Intern to join our team at Maryland. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in operational duties related to contract fulfillment, hospitality, radio and television broadcasts and perform other tasks as required to help ensure the success of Maryland Sports Properties. You will also provide outstanding service at University of Maryland athletic events. This position will assist in the daily corporate involvements, including but not limited to, coordination or corporate events, gameday responsibilities, and perform other tasks as required to help ensure the success of Maryland Sports Properties.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

Support full-time Client Services and Sales staff with day-to-day tasks necessary to ensure the overall success of university sports property

Assist with the execution of all hospitality elements and events (game days and non-game days)

Assist with compiling partner recaps and proof of performance

Assist with Radio/TV affidavit tracking

Take photos and documentation of promotions, signage, events, and contractual obligations to maintain an accurate image library for annual recaps

Research potential corporate partners and monitor industry trends

Assist with capturing digital and social media proof of performance

Assist with year-end partnership recaps

Represent Playfly Sports, Maryland Sports Properties and the University in a professional manner

Support full-time Client Services and Sales staff with game day tasks, including but not limited to, set up and breakdown, on-site promotions and on-field presentation fulfillment. As well as other necessary tasks to ensure the overall success of Maryland Sports Properties

Assist with the execution of all hospitality elements and events on game days and non-game days

Track, maintain, and organize game day inventory

Provide high quality customer service and communication

Other job-related duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Must be a full-time student at the University of Maryland

Strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and willingness to participate in multiple events

Responsible, motivated, and comfortable interacting with fans, partners, and other vendors

TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work a minimum of 5 - 10 office hours a week

Responsible for attending all home football games and other assigned sports home games (including afternoon, night, and weekend games)

Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs

Must have reliable transportation
