Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $33.00–$43.00/hour — Based strictly on General Aviation rotary maintenance experience

• Relocation Assistance: Available and negotiated on a case-by-case basis for out-of-town candidates

• Shift: 40 hours/week with highly flexible 5x8 or 4x10 (3-day weekend) options; paid overtime, rotational weekend work, and premium-rate AOG support required

Job Summary

Focus exclusively on the maintenance, safety, and operational readiness of a premier GA helicopter fleet without getting pulled into fixed-wing projects. Reporting directly to the Director of Maintenance, this role offers the unique opportunity to lead rotary maintenance and play a pivotal, ground-floor role as the facility expands its capabilities into Part 135 operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, component overhauls, and troubleshooting exclusively on rotary aircraft (Robinson, Airbus, Bell)

• Execute and sign off on 100-hour and annual inspections in strict compliance with 14 CFR Parts 43 and 91

• Diagnose and resolve complex discrepancies across mechanical, hydraulic, powertrain, and electrical/avionics systems

• Accurately interpret and apply maintenance manuals, Service Bulletins (SBs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and technical drawings

• Conduct minor structural sheet metal repairs and basic avionics or radio tracking system troubleshooting

• Log all maintenance actions accurately within the facility's digital tracking systems

• Participate in rotational weekend coverage and respond to AOG situations to ensure continuous fleet readiness

Minimum Requirements

• Valid and current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License

• Minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience maintaining General Aviation helicopters

• Direct, hands-on experience with Robinson R44, Airbus AS350, or Bell 206 JetRanger platforms

• Proven track record of successfully completing and authorizing helicopter inspections

• Comprehensive understanding of FAA regulations, specifically 14 CFR Parts 43 and 91

• Must provide a personal set of basic hand tools (specialty tools provided by the employer)

• Exceptional documentation habits, rigorous professionalism, and a safety-first mindset

Ideal Qualifications

• Active Inspection Authorization (IA) credential, or the qualifications and readiness to obtain one

• Prior experience operating within or supporting a Part 135 regulatory environment

• Advanced proficiency in electrical troubleshooting or light airframe structural repairs
