Our focus is on quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement. Location Winchester, Virginia Duties and Responsibilities Report directly to the Quality Control Manager. Communicate analytical information to mechanics and management teams at all times. Read, understand, and interpret paperwork and schedules. Operate and interpret controlled machines, with knowledge of Gauges. Complete routine written documentation. Ensure all processes are within specification, both dimensionally and visually. Understand and interpret specifications, purchase orders, metal thickness, pallet details, ESEs, score gauge (MeTop), openability (Versatile), pop/pull, missile, tab strength, TRAC Sequence Machine, TRAC Shell, Exposure Gauge, buckle testing, compound placement (Ovec), leak detector (Ovec), weigh‐up shells for compound checks, heat test, visual checks, HFI's, hold tickets, RGR's log book. Take care of overrun area and complete blush tests, tracing defects on pallets and production lines. Restock, repair, sort, scrap, and visually inspect pallets. Comprehend Statistical Process Control, interpret control charts, and follow rubrics for all defects. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (preferred). Exhibits safety and quality as top priorities. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced environment, independently and as part of a team. Cross‐training/multi‐skilling in other functions is expected. Detail oriented and highly accurate. Flexible to work any shift and overtime as required. Problem‐solving skills, both individual and collaborative. Excellent time management and multitasking abilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Physical Requirements Stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as necessary; lift or move up to 25 pounds; walk up and down stairs or platforms; work in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to machinery, forklifts, and loud noise.
