We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to help protect our people, property, and operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining a safe and secure environment across our facilities.
*Flex Shift: 6pm-2am
*Wicklander Zulawski certification is a plus
Location: Durham, NC
Schedule: Onsite
Pay & Benefits: Competitive pay + bonus eligibility + full benefits package
What You'll Do
- Monitor and maintain security systems including CCTV, alarms, and access control
- Conduct routine inspections and audits to identify security risks
- Investigate incidents such as theft, fraud, or policy violations
- Document and report findings, incidents, and corrective actions
- Support emergency response and crisis management efforts
- Deliver training on security awareness and loss prevention
- Partner with internal teams and external agencies to ensure compliance
- Recommend improvements to enhance security and reduce risk
What You'll Bring
- 2-3 years of experience in security, loss prevention, military, or law enforcement
- High School diploma or equivalent (degree in criminal justice or related field preferred)
- Experience with security systems and surveillance technology
- Strong problem-solving and investigative skills
- Effective communication and report writing abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible schedules and travel as needed
- Bilingual skills are a plus
