Key Responsibilities
IT Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational goals, emphasizing scalability, security, and efficiency
     
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across infrastructure and systems
     
  • Lead IT projects to ensure on-time, in-scope delivery
     
  • Communicate technical initiatives effectively to executive leadership
     
Infrastructure & Systems Management
  • Oversee IT infrastructure including PCs, servers, networks, databases, and cloud services (Microsoft 365)
     
  • Manage server-based business applications such as:
     
    • Sage MAS 500
       
    • SolidWorks
       
    • PDM

  • Administer Hyper-V virtualization platforms to optimize performance and resource utilization
     
  • Manage Kaseya/Unitrends backup appliances and cloud storage
     
Network & Security
  • Maintain LAN and wireless networks to ensure reliable connectivity
     
  • Manage routers, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and network security protocols
     
  • Implement cybersecurity best practices including Managed Detection and Response
     
  • Ensure adherence to best IT practices and maintain robust information security controls
     
  • Develop and coordinate disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
     
Support & Vendor Management
  • Provide desktop, server, and remote access support for onsite and remote employees
     
  • Manage vendor relationships including local MSP partnerships
     
  • Oversee procurement, contract negotiations, and service level agreements for hardware, software, and cloud service 

Vendor Service Agreement Responsibilities
  • Manage, negotiate, and oversee facility service agreements to ensure compliance, protect organizational interests, and facilitate smooth business operations.
     
  • Act as a central liaison between GSC and external parties.
     
  • Coordinate with senior leaders to ensure agreements align with organizational goals.
     
  • Evaluate vendor performance throughout an agreement's lifecycle and address service issues as needed.
     
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight related to facility services and contracts.
     
Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing complex IT environments
     
  • Strong systems engineering expertise in:
     
    • Windows Server
       
    • Microsoft SQL Server
       
    • SharePoint
       
    • Active Directory
       
    • DHCP/DNS
       
    • SQL databases
       
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and virtualization technologies (Hyper-V)
     
  • In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure and security best practices
     
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as Datto RMM
     
  • Experience developing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans
     
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
     
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
     
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
     
  • Relevant technical certifications highly desirable
