Overview:

The inventory Valuation & Processes Department is looking to bring on a team member to handle the day-to-day responsibilities as well as be responsible for innovating the current processes. We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter that is proficient at utilizing business intelligence software, willing to collaborate, and able to multitask.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement inventory accounting controls
  • Maintain accurate reports and documentation related to inventory valuation.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain consistent inventory valuation related processes and procedures.
  • Analyze and reconcile inventory discrepancies, investigating and resolving any inconsistencies.
  • Contribute to maintaining positive relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Perform regular valuations of inventory using various costing methods (FIFO, LIFO, Average Cost).

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in finance, business operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite,with strong Excel skills.
  • Experience documenting and improving business processes.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
