Each and every team member plays a vital role in our success. We are rapidly expanding and looking for a professional, self-motivated individual to fill the role of a Territory Battery Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the Territory Battery Sales Manager. will be responsible for professional service to customers, achieving and exceeding company sales goals. The Territory Battery Sales Professional will direct the organizations sales, set goals, review data, motivate and create growth opportunities within the company and continue to develop a winning culture.

  • Abiliy to sell batteries to customers, maintain inventory, and open new business in the Houston market.
  • Invoice all units that fail to last the full warranty period
  • Organize the route by keeping operations updated, structured, and keeping dealer list equipped.
  • Provide professional service to each dealer on a regular basis
  • Maintain new accounts
  • Establish strong relationships in the area
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensure its strong presence.
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, and performance.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting relationships by partnering with sales customers
  • Identify areas of growth within current customer base as well as develop new business.
  • Analytical Skills: Take sales numbers and analyze them to find opportunities for growth
  • Customer Service: The ability to speak with dissatisfied customers and resolve issues.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to be a good listener and speaker, to help customers and employees understand your direction and recommendations. Both verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to communicate and work with other department leads.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Sales Management in a highly competitive market; prior success selling wholesale auto parts particularly in aftermarket industry preferred.
  • Experience in prospecting new business and closing sales with installers, fleets, municipalities and car dealerships a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Time management with ability to multitask a plus.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives.
  • Position requires an individual with an outgoing and assertive personality to take initiative, be pro-active, be very positive, and have a "can-do / seize-the-day" type attitude.

  • Bilingual in Spanish would be a plus.
