Job description

Topre America Corporation, a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier, is seeking an experienced Press Manager to lead our Press Department. This leadership position is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement while developing a high-performing team of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, Team Leads, and production associates.

If you have a strong background in metal stamping manufacturing, lean principles, and leading large production teams in a fast-paced automotive environment, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Lead all operations within the Press Department across multiple shifts.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor Press Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Team Leads.
  • Drive departmental performance through KPI management and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen/Kobetsu).
  • Establish and monitor production goals, efficiency targets, scrap reduction, SPM, and ADC targets
  • Identify safety concerns, production issues, and delivery risks while implementing effective countermeasures.
  • Partner with Executive Management, Human Resources, Quality, and other departments to support business objectives.
  • Evaluate leadership performance and identify training and development opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and performance updates to executive leadership.
  • Promote a culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.

Qualifications

Required

  • Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience leading supervisors and production teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to analyze production metrics and performance data
  • Ability to work flexible hours as business needs require

Preferred

  • Associate or bachelor's Degree
  • Automotive manufacturing experience
  • Metal stamping experience
  • Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement experience
  • Experience with KPI management and production reporting
