Role Overview

Riceland Healthcare Systems is seeking a strategic Chief Human Resources Officer to elevate our HR function. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own all aspects of human resources—from talent acquisition and compliance to organizational culture. This is a hands‑on executive role requiring a leader who can balance high‑level strategy with day‑to‑day operational excellence in a growing multi‑site healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition: Oversee end-to-end recruitment strategies and staffing partnerships.
  • Compliance & Policy: Enforce HR policies meeting Joint Commission, CMS, and Texas state standards.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary contact for grievances, culture building, and offboarding.
  • Benefits & PEO Oversight: Manage compensation, benefits, and PEO vendor transitions.
  • Occupational Health: Ensure OSHA compliance and manage Workers' Comp/Safety programs.
Executive Requirements
  • 5-7+ years of healthcare HR experience (2+ years in leadership).
  • Deep expertise in Texas and Federal employment law (FMLA, ADA, FLSA).
  • Experience managing HR across multiple facilities.
  • Proven capability in preparing for regulatory surveys (Joint Commission/CMS).
