Job description

As a leader at Nasdaq, you will be accountable for shaping and executing the UI development strategy that powers our Generative AI product portfolio. Reporting to AVP, Software Engineering you will set technical direction, inspire a high-performing team, and drive the delivery of world-class web and mobile experiences at global scale.
You'll thrive in this role if you bring executive presence, strategic clarity, and a passion for building elegant, high-impact digital products in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the UI development strategy for Nasdaq's Generative AI products, ensuring alignment with broader engineering and business objectives.
  • Inspire, develop, and empower a team of UI engineers to deliver responsive, accessible, and high-performance web and mobile experiences.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and design leadership to align on architecture, API integration strategy, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Champion engineering excellence by establishing standards for code quality, testing, and scalable development practices.
  • Drive application performance, reliability, and scalability across web and mobile platforms.
  • Contribute to cross-functional roadmap planning and the broader technology strategy for the Generative AI organization.
Required Qualifications
  • Extensive leadership experience in UI or front-end engineering, with a track record of building and scaling high-performing development teams.
  • Demonstrated success in setting technical vision and delivering complex, production-grade web and mobile applications.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence across engineering, product, and design functions at a senior level.
  • Deep expertise in modern front-end development, including component-based frameworks and TypeScript-based ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to manage delivery timelines, balance competing priorities, and drive outcomes in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders globally.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Computer Science) or equivalent senior leadership training.
  • Experience in financial technology, capital markets, or other regulated, high-availability environments.
  • Familiarity with emerging AI/ML technologies and their application in consumer-facing digital products.

This position can be located in Atlanta or Denver, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $124,000 - $229,000.
