Job description

Manager - Client FP&A
Position Overview:
The Manager, FLNG FP&A, will be responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis activities for the company's Floating Client (FLNG) business segment. This position acts as a strategic partner to the FLNG Operations, Engineering, and Commercial teams, ensuring accurate financial visibility and supporting decision-making for vessel operations, project development, and asset deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast cycles for all FLNG assets (including production vessels, conversion projects, and associated marine infrastructure).
  • Develop and maintain project-level financial models, including OPEX, CAPEX, and lifecycle cost estimates.
  • Provide detailed variance analysis between actuals, forecasts, and budget, highlighting key business drivers and operational performance trends.
  • Support development of long-term financial plans (LTFPs) tied to Client pricing, feedgas supply, marine logistics, and asset utilization scenarios.
Business Partnering & Strategy
  • Serve as the primary finance liaison for FLNG Operations, Asset Management, and Project Execution teams.
  • Translate operational metrics (uptime, throughput, fuel usage, maintenance, crew costs, etc.) into financial insights to drive performance optimization.
  • Provide financial support to commercial negotiations, including tolling agreements, charter terms, and joint venture structures.
  • Collaborate with Treasury and Corporate Finance to align project funding and capital structure with strategic objectives.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Consolidate and report monthly financial performance, KPIs, and cash flow metrics for each FLNG unit and project.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and dashboards for senior leadership and Board review.
  • Ensure accurate cost allocation between operating units (vessels, onshore support, corporate overhead).
  • Implement improved data analytics and automation to enhance forecasting accuracy and timeliness.
Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and financial reporting standards (US GAAP / IFRS as applicable).
  • Support internal and external audit processes related to FLNG operations and assets.
  • Participate in financial risk assessment related to commodity exposure, operations, and maintenance contracts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering required; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, project finance, or corporate finance within energy, Client, or offshore oil & gas sectors.
  • Strong understanding of FLNG / Client operations, marine logistics, and capital project cost structures.
  • dvanced proficiency with financial modeling (Excel), ERP systems (SAP / Oracle), and BI tools (Power BI / Tableau).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced, global organization.
Preferred Skill and Experience
  • Experience supporting floating production assets (FPSO, FSRU, FLNG).
  • Familiarity with maritime operations, chartering, and Client value chain economics.
  • Demonstrated leadership in implementing process improvement and automation within FP&A functions.
