Job description
For over ten years the LGBT National Help Center has been running online chatrooms for LGBTQ+ youth giving young people a space to find their voice, grow together, and just plain be kids in a queer online space, together.
Our moderated chatrooms provide a space for young people, especially one may not the support and care they deserve to have in their ever day life to find like minded young people, to talk, share their feelings, share their victories and challenges, have the space to discover themselves and express their true selves.
Moderators will be trained, and are asked for a year commitment once training is complete.
Position is remote, so you can be anywhere in the country. Must have reliable internet.
Moderators must be over 18 years old, and for the Transgender Teen Chat Room, Moderators must identify as transgender, nonbinary, gender queer, or gender expansive.
Currently looking to fill shifts Friday evening shifts.

Currently all remote volunteer positions require being located in the United States or Canada.
