Surgical Tech, Allied, CST

Shift: 10H Day, Evening Midshift Monday-Thursday 1030-2100, plus call.
Contract Length: 91 days
Start Date: 08/31/2026
Job Description:
The Surgical Tech performs all responsibilities related to the preparation and maintenance of the sterile field, scrubbing, gowning, and gloving. Assists surgeons during surgical procedures by providing the necessary instruments and equipment for various general, orthopedic, neuro, gyn, ent, plastics, and other specialty cases utilizing advanced technology and robotics.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery
- Assist with sterile draping and provide sterile instruments, blankets, and other supplies
- Demonstrate an understanding of neuro and ortho procedures
- Assist in the use of robotics, including the DaVinci system
- Participate in night and weekend call rotations as required
Requirements:
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Experience in neuro and ortho procedures
- Experience with robotics
- Understanding of fingernail policy prohibiting artificial nails
- Must live outside a 50-mile radius from CommonSpirit facilities
