Job description

Master Scheduler / Production Planner
Who We Are
Founded in 1967 and headquartered in Roseburg, Oregon, FCC Commercial Furniture is a premier design-build manufacturer for the national restaurant and hospitality industry. As a vertically integrated facility, we specialize in everything from metal fabrication and upholstery to custom cabinetry and large-format graphics.
At FCC, we believe the strength of our organization lies in our people—whom we proudly call the FCC FAMILY. We are guided by values of mutual respect, a healthy dose of optimism, and a commitment to excellence. By fostering a culture of creativity and innovation, we aim to enhance the lives of our employees, our community, and the iconic brands we serve.

What Makes This Role Unique

This is not a coordination or analyst role. You will own the Master Production Schedule for a complex, high-mix, make-to-order manufacturing operation — hands on the ERP every day. You'll work alongside an experienced scheduler and serve as a core member of our Global Shop ERP implementation team, helping digitize and formalize how we execute work across the shop floor.

If you've built schedules in a job shop, managed MRP in a real production environment, and been part of an ERP go-live, this role was written for you.

We are not able to provide employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Master Scheduling: Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) using Global Shop APS to balance customer demand with available capacity.
  • Capacity Management: Analyze work center constraints and collaborate with Operations management to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Material Planning (MRP): Manage MRP to identify shortages, generate purchase requisitions, and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routers.
  • Work Order Management: Create and manage production work orders, ensuring job packets and material allocations are complete and accurate.
  • ERP Implementation: Serve as a core member of the Global Shop ERP implementation team, assisting with data migration, configuration, and go-live testing.
  • Performance Reporting: Generate and distribute reports on schedule attainment, on-time delivery, and material status.

What You Bring

  • Production Planning Mastery: 3+ years of hands-on production planning, scheduling, or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • ERP Fluency: You have used an ERP system daily to manage production — not observed it, not supported it from IT, but planned with it. Global Shop Solutions experience is a plus; strong experience in any manufacturing ERP (Epicor, Infor, JobBOSS, SAP, Oracle, Macola, etc.) will be considered
  • Solid working knowledge of MRP, BOMs, routers, and capacity/work center planning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting
  • Experience in a high-mix, make-to-order or job shop environment strongly preferred
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification (or active pursuit) is a plus
  • A degree in Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field is helpful but experience is what matters most

Position Details
  • Location: On-Site — Roseburg, OR
  • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
  • Compensation: $95,000–$115,000 depending on experience
  • Relocation: Relocation assistance provided for eligible out-of-area hires
  • Sponsorship: We are not able to provide employment visa sponsorship

You'll Thrive Here If You Are:

  • A hands-on planner who takes ownership of the schedule — not a coordinator who passes information along
  • Comfortable working across Sales, Purchasing, and the Shop Floor simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture
  • Positive, direct, and team-first in how you operate
