Position Information
Posting Number 2010-0348 Position Title Pool for Adjunct Welding Technology Instructors Open Date 07/06/2023 Close Date Open Until Filled Yes Full or Part Time Part Time Permanent or Temporary Temporary Job Summary
Will be responsible for teaching day or evening classes in Welding Technology. This may also include teaching welding classes at the local high school.
Rate of Pay - Based on College scale and education/experience.
Minimum Qualifications
The following entry level Certificate courses within the Welding AAS Degree Program require a Certificate in Welding and directly related work experience.
WLD 110, WLD 112, WLD 115, WLD 121, WLD 131, WLD 141.
All other WLD prefix courses require an Associate's Degree in Welding Technology, or related field (e.g. Industrial Systems Technology), along with verifiable work experience in the field.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology, Career and Technical Education with a focus in Welding or related field (e.g. Engineering).
