Position Overview:


We are seeking motivated and eager individuals to join us as Cabinet Maker Trainee (Entry-Level). This paid training position offers a fantastic opportunity to learn the art of cabinet making and woodworking while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. No prior experience is necessary—just a strong work ethic, enthusiasm for craftsmanship, and a desire to develop valuable skills in the restoration and manufacturing industry.


Duties:


  • Assist experienced cabinet makers with cutting, assembling, and finishing custom cabinetry.
  • Learn to operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
  • Support installation of cabinets, fixtures, doors, siding, and other woodworking projects on-site.
  • Participate in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding construction plans.
  • Help with heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to ensure safety and efficient



Skills:

  • Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry and woodworking.
  • Willingness to learn construction and blueprint reading skills.
  • Strong interest in construction trades such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, cabinetry installation, door hanging, fixture installation, finishing and more.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on construction sites with physical endurance.
  • Good communication skills to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment.
  • Eagerness to develop expertise in various construction techniques including , finishing, final assembly, CNC fabrication processes, cabinetmaking and more.
