Entry Level Wirtgen Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Purpose:

This entry level position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supplying customers with timely & accurate information regarding accounts, products, rates, & services offered. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing excellent customer service to the service department, counter & phone customers 

• Provides recommendation for sales of additional related or needed parts or accessories 

• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and Wirtgen Group products.

• Timely and accurate processing of all in-store orders; completes orders by communicating with customers on pick-up or delivery status 

• Locating and obtaining merchandise for customers, whether in stock, out-of-stock or non-stocked merchandise 

• Maintains inventory integrity by verifying receipting-in of shipments and assisting with placing parts orders in their proper inventory locations; assisting in cycle counts; following up on inventory discrepancies and expediting issues by reporting to Supervisor 

• Assists with preparing and maintaining professional showroom image and merchandise displays 
• Develop and maintain strong familiarity with paving, milling, and crushing equipment from manufacturers such as Wirtgen Group (Vögele, Wirtgen, Hamm, Kleemann), and others
• Work closely with the service department to prioritize urgent parts needs for field and shop repairs
• Communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers to expedite critical orders or resolve issues

• Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly 

• Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs 

• Operates forklift to load/unload trucks 

• Any other assigned duties 

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience 

• Experience connecting with customers, maintaining professional image, establish rapport 

• Ability to safely operate forklift 

• Demonstrated basic understanding of the selling processes 

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence 

• Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
