The Agency of Transportation is seeking a Transportation Operations Technician II. This position is responsible for various tasks related to highway maintenance, such as repairing guardrails, cutting trees/brush, patching roads, picking litter, ditching, and more. In the winter months, this position will also assist with plowing and salting, and overtime may be required.
This is an entry-level position for maintenance work within the Agency of Transportation (VTrans) on the Bennington Team. The Transportation Operations Technician II, performs various laboring and semi-skilled tasks while being closely supervised by higher-level maintenance workers.
