About Premier Sport Psychology

Premier Sport Psychology is a contract-based sport and performance psychology practice serving professional athletes, collegiate programs, corporate organizations, and individual clients across the Twin Cities and beyond. Our reach spans NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, PWHL, and USA Olympic teams, Power 4 collegiate athletic departments, and high-performing corporate organizations.

We are in an active growth phase expanding our team, our client portfolio, and our brand presence. This role is central to that expansion. You will help shape how Premier is seen by the athletes, organizations, and corporate partners we serve, while working directly alongside senior leadership to bring our story to life.

About this role

Premier Sport Psychology is seeking a self-motivated Marketing & Content Specialist with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in social media content creation, video production, and marketing material development. This is not an entry-level role we need someone who has done this work professionally and can hit the ground running with minimal direction.

A meaningful part of this role involves managing the relationship with Premier's high-level external marketing vendor. You will be the internal point of contact for that partnership coordinating deliverables, communicating priorities, and ensuring the vendor's output aligns with Premier's brand and business goals. This requires someone who is organized, confident, and comfortable navigating relationships with senior professionals.

You will also work directly with Premier's senior leadership team on a regular basis. The right person is not intimidated by that they bring ideas to the table, communicate proactively, and operate with the professionalism those relationships require.

What youll do

Social media and content creation:

  • Own Premiers social media presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms creating, scheduling, and managing content consistently
  • Produce and edit video content from concept through publishing including filming at events and client sessions, editing, and distributing across platforms
  • Develop creative marketing materials including graphics, presentations, one-pagers, and campaign assets that reflect Premiers brand standards
  • Monitor performance metrics and adjust content strategy based on engagement and growth data
  • Stay current on social media trends, particularly within sport, performance, and corporate wellness spaces

Vendor and project management:

  • Serve as Premiers primary internal point of contact for the external marketing vendor managing the relationship, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring alignment with Premiers priorities
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with the vendor on timelines, revisions, and expectations
  • Review vendor output for brand accuracy and quality before it is used externally
  • Track project status across multiple marketing initiatives and keep leadership informed

Leadership collaboration:

  • Work directly with Premiers senior leadership team to understand business priorities and translate them into marketing content and campaigns
  • Proactively bring ideas, updates, and recommendations to leadership without being asked
  • Support leadership presentations, proposals, and external communications with polished marketing assets

Required qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience creating and managing social media content for a brand, organization, or client demonstrated results required
  • 2+ years of video creation and editing experience can show a portfolio of work produced for professional or organizational use
  • Experience developing marketing materials including graphics, presentations, and campaign assets using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent
  • Is self-motivated and manages their own priorities without needing heavy oversight or direction
  • Is comfortable working directly with senior leaders communicates proactively, handles feedback well, and brings solutions rather than problems
  • Has strong written communication skills and an eye for detail errors in external-facing content are not acceptable

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with analytics tools Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics, or equivalent
  • Photography experience comfortable capturing quality images at events and in dynamic settings
  • Background in sport, communications, marketing, psychology, or a related field
  • Experience working in or around athletic programs, sports organizations, or performance-focused companies
  • Proficiency in project management tools Asana, Monday, Trello, or similar
