The Assistant Women's Soccer Coach assists in the overall organization, and administration of Davis & Elkins College's NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Program. Duties may include (but are not limited to): recruiting student athletes within the rules and philosophy of the NCAA, Mountain East Conference, and Davis & Elkins College. The assistant coach will assist in evaluating player talent - both academically and athletically; emphasizing academic priorities to student athletes; helping to organize/conduct all practices; scouting and providing appropriate strategy for competitive (game) success; related administrative tasks; assisting with fundraising initiatives; and maintaining appropriate communication with students, other coaches, university staff, parents, and alumni.
Previous Soccer playing or coaching experience and possession of a valid driver's license.
Certification in CPR and First Aid within six months of the commencement of employment and must maintain certification during employment.
Entry level opportunity. Bachelor's degree required.
