Saturna Capital is seeking an Administrative Assistant to manage the front desk area at our downtown Bellingham office. This is a dynamic role offering exposure to a variety of administrative functions and is a great opportunity for individuals looking for an entry-level position in the financial services industry. This role is responsible for supporting our customers by taking inbound calls, as well as providing administrative support to the Investor Services Department. We are looking for a motivated individual who is a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills. You will have dedicated time to focus on growth and career development in preparation for more senior roles within the company. This position includes paid training and support for industry requisite exams.

Location: Bellingham, WA – on site

Starting wage range: $24.08 – 26.44 per hour (DOE)

Primary duties include:

  • Providing customer service support to current and prospective clients via telephone or written communication
  • Performing administrative tasks, such as reconciling accounts and other related activities in the Investor Services Department
  • Creating a hospitable and welcoming environment for all clients, guests and employees
  • Collaborating on special project teams and completion of assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • Providing assistance to other departmental staff, as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Obtain FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 within first 9 months of employment
  • Candidates must successfully complete pre-employment requirements such as a logic test, background and credit check, and reference check.
