Job Title: Social Worker - Safeguarding Team
Location: Bromley (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: 32 per hour

Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Social Worker on behalf of its client's Safeguarding Team based in Bromley. The role focuses on protecting and promoting the wellbeing of adults at risk by leading safeguarding enquiries, coordinating multi-agency responses and ensuring full compliance with the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and other relevant legislation.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Lead and coordinate Section 42 enquiries, ensuring timely and proportionate responses to concerns of abuse or neglect.
  • Undertake risk assessments, develop safeguarding and support plans in collaboration with individuals, families, and partner agencies.
  • Work closely with health, police, housing, and voluntary sector partners to ensure a holistic and person-centred approach.
  • Apply relevant legislation including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Human Rights Act, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare reports for safeguarding meetings, and contribute to legal proceedings where necessary.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
