What is an entry level realtor?

Entry level Realtors are licensed real estate professionals who are new to the industry and typically have less experience than seasoned agents. They help clients buy, sell, and rent properties, while learning the ropes of the real estate market, marketing techniques, and negotiation skills. Entry level Realtors often work under the guidance of a broker or more experienced agents as they build their client base and industry knowledge. They are responsible for tasks such as showing homes, preparing documents, and assisting with transactions. With time and experience, entry level Realtors can advance to more senior roles within the real estate industry.

What are some common challenges an entry level realtor might face when starting out in the real estate industry?

Starting as an entry level realtor can be challenging due to the need to quickly build a client base while learning industry regulations, local market trends, and effective sales techniques. New agents often face steep competition and must proactively network, market themselves, and follow up with leads to secure listings and sales. Additionally, balancing administrative duties, open houses, and client meetings requires strong organizational skills. However, many brokerages provide mentorship, training programs, and team support to help new realtors succeed.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an entry level realtor, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Entry Level Realtor, you need a basic understanding of real estate principles, strong sales abilities, and a valid real estate license. Familiarity with MLS platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and digital marketing tools is typically required. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and networking skills help build client trust and grow your business. These skills and tools are essential for effectively matching clients with properties and succeeding in a competitive real estate market.

What does an entry level realtor do?

Entry-level Realtors help customers buy, sell, or rent commercial or residential land and property. When entering this field, some may choose to work independently, but some companies have you work alongside a more experienced Realtor until you are more familiar with the industry. In this role, you may research current real estate trends, fill out paperwork, provide advice to clients, coordinate meetings, create marketing materials for properties, and travel throughout a set area to show properties to clients. The word Realtor officially refers to members of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), but many employers use it as an alternative for any real estate agent, so you may not need to be a registered Realtor when applying for this job.

How to get an entry level realtor job with no experience?

Entry level real estate agent positions often do not require prior experience; instead, they typically require a valid real estate license, which involves completing pre-licensing courses and passing an exam. Candidates should focus on developing strong communication skills, understanding local market trends, and networking with brokers or agencies that offer training programs for new agents.

Niagara Falls, ON

Job description

About REVEL REVEL Realty is one of the fastest-growing independent real estate brands in Ontario. Founded in Niagara Falls in 2013, we now operate 40+ offices and 500+ REALTORs®  across the province. Our growth comes from the Head Coach model. We partner with established REALTOR® team leaders to open and run their own REVEL-branded offices under our platform, our brand, and our REVELution community. Every Office Leader (Head Coach) is a business owner in their own right, and the reason this company keeps growing. We are building out the team that supports REVEL's continued expansion across Ontario. You would be joining at the start. The role This is the front end of how REVEL finds its next Office Leader (Head Coach). Your job is to identify Ontario REALTOR®  high profile agents and team leaders who could be a fit for our model, build a relationship with them, and book a discovery conversation with our Chief Growth Officer. You are not closing deals. You are opening the door for a longer conversation. The close happens later, with senior leadership, in person, in Niagara Falls. You will be one of two SDRs on a brand-new growth team. The system is being built around you: a working HubSpot pipeline, defined recruiting stages, an outreach playbook, and a leadership team that is engaged and accessible. What you'll do * Run outbound outreach every day. Calls, emails, LinkedIn, sequences. The phone is your primary tool. * Shadow Chief Growth Officer in person during meetings, either at the office or off-site.  * Research REALTOR®  team leaders in Ontario markets we are growing into. * Book sales-qualified discovery meetings for our Chief Growth Officer. * Keep HubSpot current. Every touchpoint logged, every record clean. * Work toward a monthly target for confirmed Sales Qualified Leads. * Travel requirements: Less than 10% of the time (conferences, occasional market sweeps).  * Show up to weekly pipeline reviews and weekly coaching. Who we're looking for * Comfortable on the phone and at ease starting conversations with people you have not met. * Coachable. You want to keep getting better at this. * Organized. You can run a structured workflow on your own. * Curious. You are genuinely interested in the people you are reaching out to. * One to three years of outbound sales experience preferred. Strong entry-level candidates with the right instincts welcome. * Real estate industry experience is a plus, not a requirement. * Based in Ontario. Comfortable working from our Niagara Falls office or on a hybrid arrangement. What you get * A working system on day one. HubSpot live, playbook ready, leadership engaged. * A teammate running the same playbook beside you. You will sharpen each other. * A growing brand with real room to move into more senior roles as the team builds out. * Competitive salary and a rewarding work environment and team.
