Position Summary

The Radiologic Technologist (Level I) serves as a frontline clinical team member responsible for performing radiologic imaging and a broad range of diagnostic procedures for Veterans and federal examinees.

  • Two Days a Week
  • Specific days determined at time of hire
  • Predictable clinic schedule

Work Location: In-Person – Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin

Core Responsibilities

Radiologic (X-Ray) Duties

  • Perform radiologic exams and procedures as ordered
  • Operate x-ray equipment and ensure high-quality imaging
  • Troubleshoot equipment concerns and report malfunctions promptly
  • Maintain radiation safety standards and compliance

Medical Assistant & Diagnostic Testing Duties

  • Perform vital signs and diagnostic testing including:
    • EKGs
    • Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs)
    • Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) testing
    • Audiograms
    • Vision screening
    • Smell testing
  • Screen for contraindications prior to testing
  • Identify when additional provider attention may be required
  • Assist providers during examinations as needed

Lab & Phlebotomy Duties

  • Collect, label, and process blood and urine samples
  • Centrifuge and prepare specimens properly
  • Maintain infection control and cleanliness of lab areas

Administrative & Clinic Support

  • Schedule appointments and process documentation in DaySmart
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
  • Assist with chart preparation and provider chart review
  • Support supply ordering and clinic housekeeping
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new team members

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Current Wisconsin State Radiologic Technologist license
  • CPR certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience (Entry Level)
  • CAOHC Certification (Audiometry)
  • Prior experience performing multi-modality diagnostic testing
