DFW Movers amp; Erectors, Inc. is looking for an Industrial Machinery Millwright to join our team!
An IM Millwright I is an entry level position, this individual manipulates industrial machinery found in factories, construction sites, and other industries. Millwrights are also known as industrial mechanics.
IM Millwright I Responsibilities:
  • Move equipment and machinery as needed with the proper and safe use of equipment
  • Use a variety of hand tools, measuring tools, and equipment for cutting, welding and brazing to adequately fulfill your daily job duties
  • Dismantle machines and removing all tools at the end of a project
  • Utilize cranes, forklifts, and trucks to complete large-scale projects
  • Put your professional judgement to good use to decide which machines, techniques and tools are the best option for moving equipment and completing all necessary jobs
  • Package, label, and categorize machine parts after taking them apart with accuracy and according to the manufacturer’s standards and specific project requirements
  • Clean up at the end of shift to make sure your job site remains well-organized and free of unnecessary clutter
  • Take steps to ensure every job is done in a manner that’s safe and completed according to the latest workplace safety regulations, laws and requirements
  • Occasionally may be required to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds
IM Millwright I Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or its equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Physically able to complete job responsibilities
