Job description

The Laundry Attendant will support both residential and commercial laundry services by efficiently processing a medium volume of laundry items. This role requires operating laundry machinery, treating stains, folding and packaging garments, and maintaining inventory and equipment cleanliness. The position operates primarily during day shifts with weekend availability and focuses on delivering quality service while adhering to safety protocols, without supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Sort laundry items according to type and fabric
  • Operate washing and drying machines safely and effectively
  • Apply stain treatment techniques to garments
  • Fold and package cleaned laundry for delivery or pickup
  • Manage inventory of laundry supplies and materials
  • Clean and maintain laundry equipment and work areas
  • Deliver courteous customer service for inquiries and support
