Job description

One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking a Deal Entry Analyst to work on a 12 - month assignment in their facilities in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for deal entry and report generation for front office trading team.
  • Daily interaction with trading, risk and Schedulers.
  • Reports to head of Crude & Products Trading Front Office
  • Responsible for entering trades accurately into Energy Trading & Risk Management system (endur).
  • Modify and update trades as necessary.
  • Work with front office team on KYC for new customers/counterparties.
  • Produce end of day position reports.
  • From time to time perform various tasks at the request from management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-5 year of relevant work experience.
  • College degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or quantitative discipline.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of trading concepts.
  • Ability to produce accurate timely work.
  • Experience with computer software (Endur experience preferred).
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to meet established deadlines and requirements.
  • Strong team player and positive attitude.
  • Result oriented approach and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, responsible and reliable.
