Job description

Weston & Sampson is seeking an entry-level Geologist/Hydrogeologist with 0-2 years of experience for our Water discipline in our Rocky Hill, CT office.

What you’ll do:

  • Hydrogeologic /geologic investigations
  • Pumping test supervision
  • Water-quality sampling
  • Streamflow gaging
  • GIS map/graphics generation
  • Soil sampling and logging during well installation
  • Permit and report writing

What you will bring:

  • BS in Geology with an emphasis in Hydrogeology
  • A positive attitude and ability to work in a team setting
  • Enthusiasm for completing field work at a variety of site settings
  • Practical knowledge of GIS, data entry and management using Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Some travel will be required to conduct field work
  • Valid driver’s license is required.

Salary Range $54,000 - $68,000 Based on Education
