Job description

CNC Press Brake Operator

Dimensional Innovations is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join our Metal Fabrication team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating press brake equipment to produce high-quality parts that meet specifications and tolerances.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who can operate with minimal supervision and has a solid understanding of press brake setup and operation. This role supports custom, one-off fabrication projects rather than repetitive production work.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up and operate CNC press brake machines
  • Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications
  • Select appropriate tooling (punches and dies) based on material and bend requirements
  • Adjust machine settings to maintain accuracy and consistency
  • Perform test runs and inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
  • Monitor production and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Maintain equipment and keep work area clean and safe
  • Assist with additional fabrication tasks as needed
 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience operating CNC press brakes in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
  • Understanding of press brake fundamentals, including tooling, bend sequences, and tolerances
  • Experience using measurement tools such as calipers and tape measures
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PREFERRED:

  • Experience working with aluminum and a variety of materials
  • Familiarity with press brake programming and machine controls
  • Additional fabrication experience (cutting, welding, assembly)

SCHEDULE

  • Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Overtime as needed

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (noise, moving equipment, etc.)
  • Reliable attendance
