This is a hands-on junior role for someone with strong design instincts, good taste, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. You do not need to be a senior art director. We need someone who can help create consistent, polished design work and keep creative projects moving.

Responsibilities

  • Create graphics for social media, stories, emails, website updates, product launches, and campaigns.
  • Support product education assets, comparison graphics, launch graphics, and promotional materials.
  • Help design B2B sales materials such as one-pagers, sell sheets, product explainers, and presentation assets.
  • Resize, format, and adapt creative assets across platforms.
  • Assist with packaging updates, product inserts, labels, and accessory merchandising materials.
  • Help organize design files, templates, product assets, and brand resources.
  • Work with marketing, social, photo/video, and leadership to turn content needs into usable graphics.
  • Make revisions quickly and accurately based on feedback.
  • Help maintain brand consistency across all visual output.

What We’re Looking For

  • 0–2 years of graphic design, visual design, marketing design, or brand design experience.
  • Based in Phoenix or able to work regularly from our Phoenix office/warehouse.
  • Strong eye for layout, spacing, typography, hierarchy, and clean visual design.
  • Comfortable working in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, or similar tools.
  • Ability to follow brand direction and build from existing templates.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with deadlines.
  • Open to feedback and able to improve quickly.
  • Interest in product, packaging, ecommerce, social content, and brand building.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing for consumer products, ecommerce, lifestyle brands, cannabis-adjacent brands, or premium accessories.
  • Basic photo editing or retouching skills.
  • Experience creating social templates, email graphics, web graphics, or presentation decks.
  • Experience with packaging layouts, print files, labels, or product inserts.
  • Basic motion graphics or video editing ability.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, Asana, Google Drive, Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, or CapCut.

Success Looks Like

Within the first 90 days, Flower Mill has faster creative turnaround, cleaner social and email graphics, better organized design files, stronger product launch assets, and more consistent visual support across marketing, B2B, website, and content.
