Construction Management is the primary studio responsible for everything that happens on WDI construction sites, including impacts to Operations. • Assist in finalizing budgets and preparing professional bid packages
  • Manage relationships with Owner/Operator
  • Support the field team in resolving daily issues with Ride, Show, Entertainment, and other partners
  • Assist with Assistant Construction Management tasks and punch/completion lists
  • Coordinate across WDI and DPEP departments (Project Management, Estimating, Scheduling, Ride Engineering) and external vendors/contractors
  • Track permits via COA (Disneyland Resort) or Accela (Walt Disney World)

  • Build familiarity with WDI CM duties as defined in the CM ToolBOX

You have decision-making independence within your assigned scope. You keep the team leader informed, who makes the majority of project decisions, while you focus on implementation.

Qualifications

  • College degree in a WDI core discipline — Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field/technical school
  • Entry-level understanding of construction means, methods, and building systems
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate across multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, on-site field environment
