Job Description:
*Shift: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Some weekend work might be required
*100% onsite in 2780 N 200 W, suite A, North Logan, Utah 84341
Must Have:
- 2 years of College (college Student) in Chemistry/Biology related fields
- Hands on Lab experience
- Or a combination between High School + Couple of years of lab experience/production lab environment
- Microsoft Office basic knowledge (Excel, Word)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
In this role you will...
• Perform benchtop analysis of new and existing formulations.
• ssist with analysis of customer complaints and product failures as required.
• Formulate and mill customer formulations for projects and complaints, complete testing on media.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing, and coordinate shipping where required.
• Compiling data from analytical testing, directed assistance with analysis of data.
• ssist with preparation of reports and presentations where required.
• Maintain cell lines including cryopreservation and thawing.
• Perform growth promotion studies and tabulate data. Read and record critical measurements.
• Prepare reagents and media using written specifications.
• Perform analysis accurately on a daily basis. Perform daily calibrations and operate basic lab equipment.
• Identify any problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and either correct the problems or immediately notify supervisor.
• ssist the supervisor in ensuring an efficient workflow operation and report any delays and problems that may delay progress.
• Maintain laboratory in a clean, functional state, as well as cleaning or performing scheduling equipment and instrument maintenance/calibration/certification as required.
