Job Title: Data Entry Clerk
Location: Franklin, TN (Hybrid – Monday–Wednesday onsite, Thursday–Friday remote)
Duration: 18 months (07/06/2026 – 01/08/2027)
Pay Rate: $12/hr. on W2
Job Description:
Provide administrative and data management support to a Film & TV team responsible for music cue sheet processing, copyright administration, and publishing registrations. This role focuses on reviewing, validating, and entering music-related data into internal systems to support ownership tracking, registrations, and royalty allocation processes.
The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, possess strong Excel skills, and be comfortable working with large volumes of data in a fast-paced environment. This is an entry-level opportunity offering hands-on training in film, television, music publishing, and copyright administration.
Job Functions:
- Review, collect, and process music cue sheet information for film and television productions.
- Enter and maintain copyright, publishing, and work registration information within internal databases.
- Identify song ownership, writer information, publishing details, and usage data from cue sheets and supporting documentation.
- Ensure all records are accurately entered, validated, and maintained according to established procedures.
- Support music registration and royalty allocation processes through accurate data management.
- Process, standardize, and report cue sheet information while maintaining data integrity.
- Identify discrepancies, research issues, and escalate concerns requiring management support.
- Partner closely with coordinators, team leads, and department staff to complete daily operational tasks.
- Maintain documentation, reporting records, and other administrative materials as required.
- Support additional operational and departmental projects as assigned.
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required; advanced formulas preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Excellent data entry, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new processes.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic Adobe experience is a plus but not required.
Experience:
- Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, operations, or related fields preferred.
- Music business, publishing, entertainment, or copyright experience is a plus but not required.
- Excel proficiency will be evaluated during the interview process through an onsite skills assessment.
Additional Information:
- Hybrid schedule with three days onsite and two days remote.
- Typical start time between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM with some scheduling flexibility.
- Extensive training provided by coordinators and team leads.
- Strong potential for contract extensions; permanent conversion may be possible but is not guaranteed.
