Responsibilities
- Learn to operate CNC machinery under the direction of experienced machinists
- Load and unload materials and finished parts
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Learn basic CNC machine setup and operation
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
- Make basic adjustments to machines as directed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
