CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Electrical Engineer I to join our Generation and Energy Management Team in St. Catharines, Ontario. In this entry-level role, you will work alongside experienced engineers on projects involving power generation, electrical distribution systems, and energy infrastructure. Through mentorship, technical training, and real-world project experience, you will build a strong foundation while contributing to innovative solutions that help clients operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.

What You'll Do:
  • Assist in the design, analysis, and implementation of technical solutions supporting generation assets and energy systems within manufacturing and advanced technology facilities
  • Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports, specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates for energy management, facility infrastructure, and reliability-focused projects
  • Perform engineering calculations and design tasks in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices for power, energy, and industrial systems
  • Participate in site visits and field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience evaluating operational facilities, equipment, and energy systems
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required
  • No experience required; however prior internships and/or relevant coursework are preferred
  • Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)

Salary Range:

$67,000 - $78,000 CAD

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
