CalNonprofits Insurance Services is a growing organization seeking motivated, relationship-driven individuals interested in launching a long-term career in Employee Benefits insurance sales and consulting. This is a mentorship and training-focused opportunity designed for individuals with strong communication skills, curiosity, professionalism, and an entrepreneurial mindset - no prior insurance experience required. We are looking for individuals who are excited to learn, committed to professional growth, and passionate about helping nonprofit organizations thrive. Ideal candidates will share our core values: Excellence, Collaboration, Trust, Diversity/Inclusion, and Respect.This role is intended to develop future Employee Benefits Producers through hands-on training, mentorship, licensing support, exposure to client relationships, and progressive growth opportunities within the insurance industry.

What You’ll Learn & Support:

  • Learn the fundamentals of employee benefits, insurance consulting, and nonprofit client service.
  • Participate in business development activities and networking opportunities.
  • Build knowledge of insurance carriers, products, underwriting, and market trends.
  • Support client meetings, renewal preparation, and ongoing client engagement.
  • Develop sales, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Work toward building and managing your own future book of business.

No insurance experience is required; however, candidates must:

  • Be able to pass background requirements necessary for insurance licensing.
  • Obtain a California Life, Accident & Health License within the first 90 days of employment (study support and guidance provided).
  • Nonprofit experience is a plus but not required. Multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
