We are a fast-moving, hands-on organization where every team member has direct visibility into the business and works closely with ownership.
The Role
We are hiring an Accounting Clerk to support the daily transaction processing for our family of companies. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and ready to build a long-term career in accounting. You will work alongside our Bookkeeper and Junior Accountant, with clear growth opportunities as you develop your skills.
What You'll Do
  • Enter vendor bills and invoices into Zoho Books and QuickBooks across multiple entities
  • Process accounts payable: prepare check runs, ACH payments, and credit card payments
  • Generate and send customer invoices and statements
  • Apply customer payments and post them to the correct accounts
  • File and organize physical and digital records, including receipts, invoices, and statements
  • Match purchase orders, packing slips, and vendor invoices for three-way verification
  • Maintain vendor and customer master files with accurate contact and payment information
  • Assist with mailing checks, scanning documents, and routine office accounting tasks
  • Support the Bookkeeper with data entry during month-end close
  • Communicate with vendors and customers on basic billing and payment questions
What We're Looking For
  • 0 to 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or Zoho Books (training will be provided for the right candidate)
  • Basic understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets (basic formulas, sorting, filtering)
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow established processes
