Job description

Revenue Cycle Coordinator - Premier Chiropractic P.C. Salem, OR | 32 hours/week | $24-$27/hour, depending on experience
Premier Chiropractic is a multi-doctor chiropractic clinic in Salem. We're hiring a Revenue Cycle Coordinator to manage our billing and keep claims moving, plus a small set of related administrative duties, reporting to the managing partner.
This is our core billing role. You'll be responsible for accurate, timely claim submission and for managing each claim through the full collections cycle until it's paid - including denials, resubmittals, and stalled secondary or tertiary claims. You'll work daily within ChiroTouch, our practice management system, and Trizetto, our clearinghouse; hands-on experience with both is a strong preference, though we're open to close equivalents for the right candidate. Front desk staff already handle most insurance verification and a first pass on authorizations - you'll take on what they can't get to, in addition to the core billing work.
What you'll do
  • Prepare and submit insurance claims, and follow up until they're paid, including secondary and tertiary claims
  • Manage prior authorizations and re-authorizations
  • Review daily patient ledgers and flag discrepancies
  • Follow up with insurance companies to resolve missing checks and EOBs
  • Maintain the doctors' in-network credentialing status with payers and networks
  • Explain the auto/PI billing process clearly to patients, provide our standard attorney referral list, and professionally handle calls from attorneys and adjusters
  • Handle medical record requests from patients, attorneys, and Social Security, following proper disclosure procedures
  • Order, restock, and distribute office supplies; scan documents, answer phones, and coordinate occasional vendor runs

What's not part of this role
  • Staff supervision
  • Clinical decisions or patient care

What we're looking for
  • Prior billing experience in a medical or chiropractic practice; this is not an entry-level position
  • Hands-on experience with ChiroTouch and Trizetto strongly preferred
  • Comfortable talking with patients directly about billing, including sensitive auto-accident cases
  • Strong follow-through on recurring administrative tasks, not just the ones with an obvious payoff
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal daily oversight

What we offer
  • $24-$27/hour, 32 hours/week
  • 401(k) eligibility
  • Oregon Paid Sick Time, as required by law
  • Hybrid schedule and remote flexibility possible over time, based on tenure and performance
