Salary: 20.00+DOE
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a local manufacturing company looking for an Entry-Level CNC Machinist to join their team! This is a great opportunity for someone who is new to the machining trade and wants to build a long-term career.
The ideal candidate may be a recent technical school graduate, someone with machining-related education, or an individual with hands-on experience with equipment such as 3D printers, CNC equipment, fabrication tools, or other precision machinery. Professional CNC experience is not required - the right candidate will be trained on the company's equipment and processes.
Pay & Schedule
  • $20.00 per hour
  • Full-time, Monday-Friday
  • Day shift (4-10s)
  • Opportunity to learn and advance within the machining trade

Responsibilities
  • Learn to operate CNC machinery under the direction of experienced machinists
  • Load and unload materials and finished parts
  • Learn to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
  • Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Learn basic CNC machine setup and operation
  • Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
  • Make basic adjustments to machines as directed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow established safety procedures and production standards
  • Assist experienced machinists with setups, tooling, and other machining tasks
  • Learn proper machining techniques and processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, curious, dependable, and genuinely interested in learning machining as a career.
Experience or education with any of the following is a plus:
  • CNC machining or manufacturing

Qualifications
