DESIGNER PLASTIQUE

Valcourt, QC · Présence sur site : 3 à 4 jours/semaine


Tu rejoins l'équipe de développement produit et prends en charge la conception de pièces plastiques de carrosserie et de garniture, de l'idéation jusqu'à la mise en production officielle.


Responsabilités

Conception & modélisation

  • Créer et maintenir des modèles 3D CATIA pour les pièces plastiques injectées (carrosserie, garnitures)
  • Produire, mettre à jour et modifier les dessins 2D et 3D en conformité avec les standards et les contraintes de fabrication


Gestion de projets de développement

  • Suivre plusieurs projets de design simultanément, de la phase concept jusqu'au lancement officiel
  • Assurer la rigueur documentaire à chaque étape du processus de développement produit


Collaboration transversale

  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes ingénierie, style, fabrication et fournisseurs
  • Veiller à l'atteinte des objectifs de faisabilité, de qualité et de coûts


Ce que tu apportes

  • Formation en génie mécanique, design industriel ou domaine connexe
  • 2 à 5 ans d'expérience en environnement manufacturier (mécanique, aérospatiale ou automobile)
  • Solide expérience en conception de pièces plastiques et maîtrise avancée des procédés de fabrication plastique (moulage par injection)
  • Maîtrise de CATIA pour la modélisation 3D et les dessins 2D de pièces plastiques
  • Bonne compréhension du processus de développement produit ; connaissance des méthodologies BRP, un atout
  • Autonomie, rigueur et capacité à gérer plusieurs projets en parallèle
  • Aptitudes analytiques et sens aigu de la résolution de problèmes
  • Aisance relationnelle avec des parties prenantes multiples (ingénierie, fabrication, fournisseurs, style)
  • Expérience en véhicules récréatifs / powersports : atout majeur
  • Français avancé et anglais avancé (oral et écrit)

La maîtrise de l'anglais est requise en raison de la participation à des réunions, conférences, formations ou projets conduits en anglais.

PLASTIC DESIGNER

You join the product development team and take ownership of plastic body and trim part design, from ideation through official release.


Responsibilities

Design & Modeling

  • Create and maintain 3D CATIA models for injection-molded plastic parts (body panels, trim components)
  • Produce, update, and modify 2D and 3D drawings in compliance with standards and manufacturing constraints


Development Project Management

  • Track multiple design projects simultaneously from concept phase through official launch
  • Maintain rigorous documentation at each stage of the product development process


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, styling, manufacturing, and supplier teams
  • Drive achievement of feasibility, quality, and cost targets


What You Bring

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (mechanical, aerospace, or automotive)
  • Strong experience in plastic part design and advanced knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes (injection molding)
  • Proficiency with CATIA for 3D modeling and 2D drawings of plastic parts
  • Good understanding of the product development process; knowledge of BRP methodologies is an asset
  • Autonomy, rigor, and ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with multiple stakeholders (engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, styling)
  • Experience in recreational vehicles / powersports: strong asset
  • Advanced French and English (spoken and written)

English proficiency is required due to participation in meetings, conferences, training sessions, or projects conducted in English.
