For more than 70 years, Walser Automotive Group has put people first: our customers, our employees, and our communities. As a family-owned, family-run company, we've grown to 29 dealerships representing 26 brands across Minnesota, Kansas, and Illinois.
We lead with innovation, technology, and a promise to deliver an exceptional experience every time.
And your work here matters: a portion of every vehicle sold and serviced supports the Walser Foundation, investing in schools, nonprofits, and workforce programs in our communities.
At Walser, success starts with people. Join us to build a career where you can grow, belong, and make a real impact.
Compensation: $55,000-$65,000/year depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time; in-store presence preferred.
What You'll Do
  • Own Lake Country Toyota's day-to-day social media presence, posting regularly to Instagram and Facebook.
  • Create and publish monthly incentive and promotional content (e.g., a Tacoma inventory push) in line with dealership priorities and brand standards.
  • Capture and post customer delivery photos, giveaways, and other engagement content that builds the store's local presence.
  • Support email blast campaigns for promotions and customer communications, with backup from the broader Walser marketing team as needed.
  • Maintain a simple, consistent content calendar covering regular posts and monthly promotions.
  • Be a visible, in-store presence - building relationships with the Sales and Service teams and capturing spontaneous content opportunities (deliveries, team moments, store events).
  • Support dealership events and sponsorships with content capture (photo/video) as they come up.
  • Keep content consistent with Walser's brand tone and voice across all posts.
  • Uphold Walser's Core Values: Do The Right Thing, Lead By Example, Display Positive Energy, Be Open Minded.

What You Bring
  • Early-career candidates welcome - no auto industry background required.
  • Strong social media instincts, with comfort shooting and editing photo/video content on a phone.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with the local Brainerd / Lakes Area market and community is a plus.
  • Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing field is welcome - marketing experience is not required.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and in-store in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills (email, Excel); comfort with CRM or scheduling/posting tools is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with dealership staff and customers day to day.

What's In It For You?
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) - Take time to relax, spend with family, or enjoy personal time away.
  • Career Growth & Opportunity for Advancement - We promote from within and provide clear career paths, mentorship, and opportunities to develop and grow your career.
  • Fertility & Adoption Assistance: Receive up to $10,000 in financial assistance for fertility treatments and adoption expenses.
  • Comprehensive Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus access to HSA and FSA plans. Access to Blue Cross Blue Shield medical coverage and additional wellness benefits.
  • Life Insurance & 401(k) with Employer Match: Company-paid life insurance and a 401(k) program that includes an employer match.
  • Paid Clothing Program: Twice a year, choose from a hand-curated collection of branded Walser apparel - on us.
