Job description
A key responsibility of this position is the design, implementation, and leadership of a centralized U.S.-based Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) to support 24/7 monitoring and response capabilities for the organization’s global office network. The GSOC will serve as the operational hub for enterprise-wide physical security monitoring, incident response coordination, threat management, and emergency communications.
The organization currently operates offices and facilities in Sarasota, Florida (headquarters), Oregon, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Munich, London, and Dubai. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining consistent global security standards, technology and operational protocols across all locations.
The Director partners closely with Operations, Facilities, Safety, HR, Legal, IT, and executive leadership to develop and maintain a secure, resilient, and compliant operating environment.
Security Strategy amp; Leadership
- Develop and implement a global security strategy aligned with business objectives and organizational risk priorities.
- Establish enterprise security policies, standards, governance models, and operating procedures across all global offices and facilities.
- Lead enterprise-wide security risk assessments and mitigation planning.
- Provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership regarding emerging threats, security posture, and operational resilience.
- Develop long-term roadmap for global security technology and GSOC maturity.
- Lead the establishment and ongoing operation of a centralized U.S.-based Global Security Operations Center (GSOC).
- Design the GSOC operating model, staffing structure, escalation procedures, and service delivery framework.
- Oversee 24/7 monitoring of global office security systems including:CCTV/video surveillance systems
- Access control systems
- Intrusion detection systems
- Visitor management platforms
- Alarm monitoring systems
- Emergency notification systems

- Oversee day-to-day physical security operations for all global facilities and offices.
- Standardize security practices, operational procedures, and guard force management across regions.

- Develop and implement physical security design standards, operational requirements, and security readiness plans for new locations.
- Coordinate security system deployment, vendor management, and security integration for new facilities worldwide.
- Ensure consistent global security standards while addressing regional regulations and local threat environments.
- Lead enterprise travel security and protective operations programs for employees traveling domestically and internationally.
- Develop and implement protocols for transporting, exhibiting, receiving, and storing high-value collectibles and sensitive assets.
- Establish standards for:

- Oversee deployment, maintenance, and optimization of:

- Manage enterprise incident response and after-action review processes.
- Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and external agencies globally as needed.
- Maintain enterprise incident reporting and case management systems.
- Support enterprise crisis management, emergency preparedness, and business continuity planning.
- Lead security response during emergencies including:
- Natural disasters
- Civil unrest
- Active threat incidents
- Facility disruptions
- Global travel or geopolitical risks
- Coordinate crisis communications and operational escalation through the GSOC.
- Ensure compliance with applicable corporate, regulatory, insurance, and security standards.
- Conduct security audits, program assessments, and operational reviews.
- Develop executive reporting related to incidents, trends, risks, and operational performance.
- Support enterprise risk management initiatives related to security and operational resilience.
- Manage global security vendors, security integrators, monitoring providers, and guard service partners.
- Oversee GSOC operational budgets and capital security investments.
- Lead RFPs, vendor selection, and contract negotiations for enterprise security systems and services.
- Ensure vendor accountability and SLA performance management.
- Oversee the development of a company-wide training program on key security principles and drive a security-first culture.
