Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Client Strategist to lead client-facing strategy for complex website redesign projects across higher education and healthcare organizations.
This role serves as the strategic guide throughout the website redesign process - leading discovery, facilitating workshops, aligning stakeholders, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver thoughtful, user-centered digital experiences.
The ideal candidate brings agency experience, strong consultative instincts, and the ability to confidently guide clients through complex digital initiatives from discovery through launch.
What You'll Do
  • Lead strategic website discovery engagements and client workshops
  • Guide clients through website redesign initiatives from planning through launch
  • Facilitate conversations around brand, audience, voice and tone, digital strategy, and user experience
  • Collaborate with content strategists, designers, analysts, developers, project managers, and executive leadership
  • Translate stakeholder input and business goals into actionable strategic direction
  • Present recommendations, findings, and project direction to client stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment between client objectives, user needs, accessibility standards, and digital best practices
  • Manage clients and projects as needed where you also provide the strategy
  • Support proposals, pitches, and strategic growth opportunities with existing and prospective clients

About the Role
This position reports to the Vice President of Web Strategy and works closely with executive leadership, including the Chief Innovation Officer. The role is highly collaborative and client-facing, requiring both strategic thinking and strong relationship management throughout the website redesign lifecycle.
This position is remote, full-time, and requires availability/working hours of 8-5 Central Standard Time.

Requirements
What We're Looking For
  • 8+ years of agency experience in website strategy, digital consulting, client services, UX strategy, or related fields
  • Proven experience leading complex website redesign projects
  • Strong understanding of digital strategy, content strategy, UX principles, and collaborative design processes
  • Experience working with higher education and/or healthcare organizations preferred
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and navigate complex stakeholder environments
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, and GA4
  • Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive digital experiences
