Job description

This position will sustain and improve product die yield for semiconductor manufacturing processes by ensuring equipment and processes are optimized, monitored, controlled, and reliable.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sustain current processes to achieve die yield goals. Monitor current processes to ensure process complies with necessary parameters and provides a base line for any necessary process enhancements.

  • Drive manufacturing to improve yields by improving electrical distributions and levels of defectivity.

  • Coordinate work with customers and internal manufacturing to improve die yield and reliability.

  • Manage new product introduction and production support engineering for a specific product or group of products after transfer from design to production.

  • Interface with design, process, test, reliability and manufacturing engineering to solve product issues and production problems.

  • Develop and sustain process improvements to reduce production costs and increase yields.

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or other closely related field required

  • 3-5 years' directly related experience preferred but will consider a strong recent college graduate.

  • Significant knowledge of CMOS, DMOS, Bipolar, and Discrete semiconductor devices

  • Skills in problem solving, organization, and statistical analysis

  • Experience with yield analysis and data-driven decision making

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions

  • Experience interacting with customers or supporting customer technical discussions is a plus

What We Offer


Salary: The estimated base salary range for the position is $90,000-$127,000. The pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, job-related experience, skills and level of the position.

Benefits & Other Eligible Compensation: Includes health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, annual bonus, and tuition reimbursement.
