$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
Opportunity:
Radiologic Technologist - Radiology
Job Details:
• Work overnight shifts from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• Schedule options: Thursday and Friday nights or Friday and Saturday nights
• Prepare patients and perform radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology
• Operate imaging equipment and perform diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols
• Perform radiologic and fluoroscopic procedures accurately and efficiently with minimal patient discomfort
• Interview patients to obtain personal medical history and document information into RIS
• Appropriately position patients and select technical factors to produce images of maximum diagnostic quality
• Ensure correct image identification including placement of ID markers and proper annotation
• Approve images, match orders to images, and archive to PACS
• Perform PACS reconciliations accurately and completely in a timely manner
• Document fluoroscopy time and estimated skin exposure for fluoroscopy studies
• Provide radiation protection to self and patients in accordance with ALARA and follow prescribed safety standards including OSHA, PPE, and hand washing protocols
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC including order entry and verification through end of exam documentation
• Communicate and collaborate with radiologists and ordering providers during exams for protocol guidance and order clarification
• Assist in transporting patients as needed
• Observe malfunctioning equipment and follow proper procedure to report equipment issues and provide minor troubleshooting
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling reassignment and shift rotations to support departmental needs
