Job Summary:
Kohler is a leading company in data and analytics discipline within Strategic Sourcing, seeking a data analytics and tools developer to join their global team. This role focuses on transforming complex data into trusted insights for senior leaders, supporting better category strategies and decision making at scale.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain analytical tools and dashboards supporting sourcing, category strategy, savings tracking, supplier performance, and risk insights—including defining requirements with stakeholders and documenting intended (to-be) reporting capabilities.
• Assess and elevate implications of complex (and sometimes contradictory) data trends— including geopolitical and economic risks, cost optimization, and category strategy—and translate findings into clear, decision-ready insights for key stakeholders.
• Establish, enforce, and collaborate on data governance standards, definitions, and quality controls to ensure consistency and reliability across regions and departments (including Finance and Digital/IT); document requirements, maintain change control, and promote traceability from definitions to reporting outputs.
• Automate data collection and reporting where possible to reduce manual effort, improve scalability, and optimize work processes using accuracy/quality metrics and continuous improvement practices.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in analytics, procurement analytics, data governance, or related roles.
• Hands‑on experience with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., ERP/SAP, Power BI, Excel, SQL/Azure, DataBricks, SharePoint, or similar platforms).
• Working knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, strategic sourcing, procurement, or similar processes.
• Experience with data security levels, SOX 404 controls, and supplier management platforms.
• Investigate new software platforms and tools and recommend automated solutions for repetitive reporting.
