Job description
Our client seeks a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist to provide comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, performing prenatal diagnostics, collaborating with specialists, and contributing to research.
REQUIREMENTS
• PA State License
• Active PA DEA (permanent PA DEA - changes in address will not be accepted)
• ABO+G Board Certification with a subspecialty in MFM
• Completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency in OB/GYN
• Completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited fellowship in MFM
• Proficiency in performing deliveries, C-sections, fetal echocardiograms, chorionic villus samplings (CVS), and gynecological ultrasounds.
Practice
• Practice Type: Multi-specialty group
• Current Providers: 6 in total: 2 Perinatologists, 3 OB/GYNs, 1 Gynecologist
• Support Staff: 2 Neonatologists, 3 Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners (CRNPs), 5 Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), 7 NICU in-house midlevel providers
• Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
• Daily Patient Load: Outpatient 30, Inpatient 10, Admissions 2, Discharges 2
• C-section/Response Time: 15 Minutes
• Daily Patient Load per Physician: Clinic 30, Hospital 5
• Weekly Deliveries per Physician: 5
• Weekend Requirement: None
• Certified Nurse Midwives on 1st Call
• EMR: Epic
Coverage Needs: Urgent need March 20- March 30
