Re:Build Fikst's areas of expertise include biomedical instruments and consumables, microfluidics, specialty plastic design, optics, industrial automation, robotics, and design for manufacturing. We have extensive in-house laboratory and rapid prototyping capability including CNCs, 3D printers, waterjet and laser cutters, which help facilitate our ability to prototype and innovate fast. What You'll Get to Do:

We're hiring experienced mechanical engineers who are excited for the variety and challenge of product development.

In this role you will exercise your mechanical design experience in an energetic and progressive consulting environment. You'll join a group of talented engineers to lead the development of new technologies and bring new products to market. You will be a lead technical contributor in addition to leading client communication and project management. You will support your team through the product design process, coaching young engineers through technical challenges while balancing project scope and timelines. You will do all of this in lively collaboration with your fellow engineers and our clients.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 8-12 years of industry experience
  • Broad technical background and the desire to learn more
  • 3D CAD experience (Solidworks preferred)
  • Experience with a range of manufacturing processes is a plus (injection molding, machining, sheet metal, casting, etc.)
  • Experience designing biomedical products or industrial automation a plus
  • Experience in consulting is a plus
